First Aid At Work
Level 3

3 Days

 £225 per person for open course

Delivered to your workplace for groups up to 12 people please call

This course is run over 3 days, and includes how to act safe, prompt and effectively in an emergency situation. The importance of preventing cross infection and recording any incident. The training covers the unconscious casualty, basic life support and the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), choking, poisoning, seizures. Injury, such as bleeding, burns, head injuries, damage to bone and soft tissue. Major illness, such as shock, asthma, anaphylaxis, diabetes, heart attack and stroke. The course also includes a manual and practical assessment.

Qualification: Regulated 3 Year TQUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)

Course Duration: 18 hours

 Student numbers: Maximum 12 Learners

Student Age: 14+ (accompanied by responsible adult)

Paediatric First Aid
Level 3

2 Days

 £150 per person for open course

Delivered to your work place for groups up to 12 people please call

This course is either run over 2 days, and includes how to act safe, prompt and effectively in an emergency situation. The importance of preventing cross infection and recording any incident. The training covers the unconscious casualty and basic life support, choking, seizures, poisoning. Injury, such as bleeding, burns, head injuries, damage to bone and soft tissue and minor injury. (12 hour also includes the following) Major illness, such as shock, epilepsy, diabetes, asthma, anaphylaxis and meningitis. The course also includes a manual and ongoing assessment.

Meets standards required by OFSTED, EYFS and Childcare Registration requirements.

Regulated 3 Year TQUK Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF)

Course Duration: 12 Hours

Student numbers: Maximum 12 Learners

Student Age: 14+ (accompanied by a responsible adult)

Course Duration: 6 Hours

This course is run over 3 hours, and includes how to act safe, prompt and effectively in an emergency situation. The importance of preventing cross infection and recording any incident. The maintenance, consumables, safety and use of the A.E.D.  The course also includes a manual and ongoing assessment.

Annual First Aid At Work Refresher Course

3 Hours - £50

This course is run over 3 hours. The Health & Safety Executive strongly recommends that all delegates who have completed a First Aid at Work Course, under The Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, carry out a 3-hour update session annually. This course will provide delegates with an opportunity to practice and update their skills. Delegates are also able to network and share their ideas and experiences.
